Laura Adams is a woman of business, strategy, marketing, creativity and innovation. She is president and CEO of the Rhode Island Quality Institute, a center of collaborative innovation that advances health and healthcare transformation. Adams has been a faculty member of the Institute of Healthcare improvement in Boston since its inception and directed its Idealized Design of the Intensive Care Unit Project. She was among the first to bring principles of healthcare to the Middle East, and has since been working with Harvard Institute and Donald Berwick, MD to strengthen services in the Middle East.
