Valeisha Butterfield-Jones Headed to Memphis
Global Head of Women & Black Community Engagement for Google and the co-founder and CEO of the Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN), Valeisha Butterfield-Jones, is headed to Memphis this week for the Annual Tribute Luncheon hosted by the Women’s Foundation of Greater Memphis (WFGM). For the past several years, Executive Speakers Bureau has been proud to work with WFGM and represent the event’s keynote speakers. Butterfield-Jones joins the ranks of amazing female motivational speakers such as Tamron Hall, Debbie Allen, and Robin Meade, just to name a few.
Valeisha has a deep passion for diversity and inclusion, as evidenced by her work for nearly two decades driving social responsibility campaigns and community engagement programs for corporations, government agencies and nonprofit organizations. In her role at Google, Valeisha is responsible for driving systemic and measurable change to create an even more inclusive culture at the tech giant. She also leads a worldwide effort to enhance equal opportunities for women and African Americans at the company through recruitment and retention.
The Women’s Foundation of Greater Memphis’ Annual Tribute Luncheon assembles over 1,600 attendees engaged by a keynote speaker in an atmosphere of passion, exhilaration and power as we celebrate our legacy of philanthropy to Memphis and Shelby County. Guests include civic leaders, businesses, non-profit and faith-based organizations, local foundations, and volunteers throughout the city. All proceeds benefit Vision 2020, a strategic plan to reduce poverty by five percent over five years in the 38126 zip code.
